The Dracosan Armoured Transport was the iron workhorse that carried the Solar Auxilia into the fire, a heavily armoured troop carrier built to breach the most hostile of warzones and disgorge its passengers directly into the enemy's ranks. Where lighter transports would be gutted by the firestorms of a contested compliance, the Dracosan pressed on behind slab-sided plating, its reinforced hull shrugging aside fire that would cripple a lesser vehicle. It bore a battery of guns of its own, most fearsomely a hull-mounted laser destroyer or volkite weaponry, allowing it to blast a path clear before its cargo of Veletaris or line infantry ever set foot on the ground. Slow but nearly unstoppable, the Dracosan was equally at home crushing across a shattered battlefield or grinding through the corridors of a boarded voidship. For the soldiers packed within its armoured belly, it was both shield and battering ram, the vehicle that delivered them, alive, to the place where the war would be decided.
