The Null Maiden Squad was the flexible heart of a Sisterhood deployment, a veteran band that blended the disciplines of the cadres into a single strike force able to answer any threat the warp could raise. Within one squad a commander might set greatblade beside flamer beside bolter, so that the Sisters could shift from purging fire to executioner's steel as the hunt demanded. Each was a pariah of proven worth, her null-soul a shield against sorcery and her silence a discipline honed across countless witch-hunts. On the battlefield a Null Maiden Squad moved like a single organism, wordless and remorseless, its members reading the battle and one another through gesture and gaze. Deployed where the enemy's power was greatest, they walked into the teeth of sorceries that would annihilate ordinary troops and, by their mere presence, unmade them — then killed what remained with blade and fire. They were the Sisterhood distilled: silent, adaptable, and utterly lethal to the witch.
