The Bloody-Sword

Jenetia Krole

The Horus Heresy

Knight-Commander of the entire Silent Sisterhood, Jenetia Krole led her order through the Great Crusade and the Silent War, her great blade never still and her silence absolute.

Jenetia Krole was Knight-Commander of the Silent Sisterhood, mistress of the entire order and one of the most feared warriors in the Emperor's service. Like all her Sisters she was a pariah and kept the vow of silence, yet she needed no voice to command; her will was written in the fall of her great two-handed blade, a weapon so often drenched in the blood of witches that it earned her the name the Bloody-Sword. She had led the Sisterhood since the earliest days of its rise, and her judgement of the psyker was reckoned as absolute as the Emperor's own.

When the Council of Nikaea weighed the peril of the witch, Krole stood among the silent proof of that danger, an unspeaking argument no orator could refute. As the Heresy engulfed the Imperium she led her order into its darkest fighting, hunting the traitor sorcerers and standing with the Custodians in the defence of Terra. She spent her never-numerous Sisters with the same cold economy she demanded of herself, and though the Silent War bled the Sisterhood near to ruin, Jenetia Krole never once wavered in the duty for which she had surrendered her voice.
