Amendera Kendel

Amendera Kendel was an Oblivion Knight of the Silent Sisterhood, a champion whose resolve was as unyielding as the black plate she wore. Among an order already defined by discipline, Kendel was reckoned exceptional, a warrior who could be set against the mightiest of the enemy's sorcerers and trusted to hold when lesser Sisters might be overwhelmed. Her null-field was a cold and absolute thing, and within its reach the workings of the witch withered and the daemon found no door into the world.

Through the Silent War she led cadres of Null-Maidens into the fighting that mattered most, marching against the corrupted Librarians and the summoners who served the Ruinous Powers. She spent herself and her Sisters with the grim economy their order demanded, understanding that the Sisterhood's dwindling number was a price the Imperium had to pay to keep the warp's terrors at bay. Where Amendera Kendel kept her vigil, sorcery died unspoken and the enemy learned that some ground could not be taken at any price.
