The Broodcoven is the ruling triumvirate at the very heart of a Genestealer Cult, the sacred union of its three foremost leaders fighting as one command-cadre: the alien Patriarch, the psychic Magus, and the martial Primus. Together they embody the mind, the faith, and the sword of the brood, and when they take the field side by side their combined authority welds the entire uprising into a single, fanatically coordinated whole.
The Patriarch, eldest and most monstrous of the cult's genestealers, radiates a psychic dread and a father's absolute dominion; the Magus channels the broodmind's will into sorcery and zealotry; and the Primus directs the ambushes and battle-plans with cold tactical genius. Surrounded by their most devoted followers, the Broodcoven is rarely committed lightly, for the loss of all three at once could shatter the brood's cohesion entirely. Yet where they advance together, the cult fights with terrifying unity of purpose, the hidden revolt of years finally revealed in the presence of its unholy, three-souled heart.
