Prince Imrik

Prince Imrik of Caledor is the foremost dragon-rider of the age and, by the reckoning of many, the greatest warrior-prince in Ulthuan after Tyrion himself. He is the descendant of Caledor Dragontamer, the legendary mage who first bound the dragons to the will of the elves and later gave his eternal soul to hold shut the daemon-gate above the world. That heritage runs deep in Imrik: cold, proud, and aloof, he holds the ancient bloodline of Caledor above the squabbles of lesser princes, and he commands a bond with the great drakes that no other elf can match. Where other lords beg and struggle to rouse a single dragon, Imrik can wake several from their slumber, riding to war at the head of a flight of beasts that have not stirred in centuries. Armoured in the panoply of his royal line and bearing a dragon-forged lance, he descends upon the enemy like the wrath of a bygone age. Distant and unbending he may be, but when Ulthuan calls, Prince Imrik and his dragons answer — and the very earth trembles at their coming.
