Plagueclaw

A towering Clan Pestilens catapult that lobs barrels of festering, disease-ridden filth over the enemy line to rot armies alive from within.

The Plagueclaw is the siege-engine of Clan Pestilens, a towering catapult whose ammunition is not stone or shot but barrels of the foulest, most virulent filth the plague-monks can brew. Cranked back by chanting, pox-ridden acolytes of the Skaven, the great arm hurls its putrid payload high over the battle-line to burst among the enemy in a spreading cloud of contagion. Where the muck lands, disease blooms with unnatural speed — flesh sloughs, lungs fill, and hardened warriors sicken and die where they stand, their courage rotting away as fast as their bodies. To the priests of Clan Pestilens this is an act of devotion, for they worship the spread of pestilence as a holy sacrament and regard each barrel of plague as a prayer flung skyward. The Plagueclaw's crew are already half-consumed by the diseases they revere, and they load and fire with the glassy-eyed rapture of true believers, indifferent to whether the rot claims the foe or, eventually, themselves.
