Lord Skreech Verminking is the mightiest of all Verminlords, a towering daemon of the Horned Rat and the closest thing the Skaven have to a champion of their dark god made manifest. Legend holds that he was forged in the Realm of Chaos from the intertwined souls of thirteen of the greatest Grey Seers ever to plot and betray, thirteen lifetimes of cunning and malice fused into a single immortal engine of schemes. He strides between the realms as the Horned Rat's own emissary, appearing at the pivotal moment of a great skaven undertaking to tip the balance with sorcery, blade and the sheer terror his presence inspires even in his own kind. Armed with the fearsome weapons Doomsplitter and the Warpstiletto, he cuts down heroes and monsters alike while weaving the thirteenfold curses that are his birthright. Yet even Verminking serves the greater scheme, and his interventions always advance the Horned Rat's design — for the ruin of every other race, and the eventual day when the children of the Under-Empire swarm over all creation.
