The Mortek Crawler is the heavy artillery of the Ossiarch Bonereapers, a vast ossified engine that hauls itself to the firing line on a nest of skittering bone-limbs. Its throwing-arm hurls one of two dreadful payloads: a dense boulder of compacted skulls that shatters ranks by sheer mass, or a shrieking cargo of dead-souls that bursts overhead and rains splintering nadirite shards across a wide swathe of ground. Directed by a Mortisan overseer who reads the battlefield like a ledger, the Crawler ranges its shots with cold, incremental precision, walking its fire across enemy formations until nothing remains upright. It never tires, never flinches from counter-battery fire, and never runs short of ammunition, for the bones of the slain are simply gathered up and loaded anew. To besieged defenders the Crawler is a patient inevitability, grinding walls and courage alike to powder.
