Doomseekers are Fyreslayers severed from the hearth — sole survivors of fallen magmaholds, warriors whose great oaths went unfulfilled, or exiles working off debts that gold cannot cover. Each has sworn the seeker's vow: to wander the Mortal Realms until he finds either the deed that redeems him or the death that settles the account.
They fight with doomseeker axe and war-iron in a ceaseless spinning slaughter, hoarding the power of their runes for the moment the true doom reveals itself. Armies hire them gladly and trust them uneasily, for a Doomseeker follows his vow rather than any general's plan — but where the battle is most hopeless, there the wanderer will be found, grinning, certain that today might finally be the day.
