The Auric Flamekeeper is a fervent priest whose sole charge is the eternal fire at a lodge's heart, the flame said to be a mote of Grimnir's own burning wrath. He tends it, feeds it, and carries its blessing to the battlefield in a brazier-staff that trails embers with every stride. Among the Fyreslayers the Flamekeeper is a figure of raw zeal, exhorting the fyrd with roared litanies until their ur-gold runes glow like coals and their fury borders on madness. When he strikes his staff to the earth, sacred fire seems to leap into his kinsmen's veins, and Vulkite and Hearthguard alike surge forward heedless of their wounds. In melee he fights with a blazing latch-axe, each blow scattering sparks across shattered armour. The Flamekeeper embodies the truest creed of his people: that the fire of vengeance, once kindled, must be fed with the blood of the foe until nothing remains to burn.
