Even the sturdy Legion Predator the White Scars pressed into the service of speed, driving these battle tanks not as a static gun-line but as fast-moving armour that struck and repositioned at the tempo of the hunt. Mounting autocannon or lascannon, the V Legion's Predators kept pace with the advance and lent their heavier firepower to the sudden assault, cracking enemy armour and strongpoints that the bikes and speeders alone could not. Chogorian crews handled them with a rider's aggression, always moving, always seeking the flank, loath to sit still while the battle raced past. Painted in the Legion's white and red and daubed with brotherhood totems, they were the anvil the White Scars carried with them rather than one left behind — heavy iron given the pace of the storm, so that when the hammer of the ordu fell, its weight fell swiftly.
