Where the scarghar brotherhoods hunted the enemy's flanks, the Golden Keshig were loosed at its heart, a gilded spearpoint driven wherever Jaghatai Khan himself chose to break a battle open.
Each rider among them had been judged worthy by the Master of the Keshig, tested not only in skill at arms but in the wordless understanding that let the guard move as a single body around their primarch.
