Drawing upon the prophetic disciplines of the Legion, an Ammitara operative could sense the threads of a coming battle and position himself precisely where his fire would prove most decisive, silencing an enemy officer or war-leader before the main engagement had even begun. They moved unseen through terrain others thought impassable, appearing as if summoned at the point of greatest vulnerability, then vanishing again into the confusion they had sown. To face them was to feel the battle turning against you for reasons you could not name, key warriors falling to shots that seemed impossible. In the tragedy of Prospero, the Ammitara turned their gifts to a desperate rearguard, harrying the invaders from the shadows of a city already lost.
