Clan Skryre is the mad genius of the Under-Empire, greatest of the warlock-clans and the source of nearly every Skaven weapon that spits lightning, belches smoke, or explodes when it is least convenient. Its Warlock-Engineers are sorcerer-scientists who fuse magic and machinery with reckless glee, refining raw warpstone into fuel and firepower in laboratories that regularly consume their creators. To Skryre belong the warp-lightning cannons, the jezzail teams, the poisoned-wind globadiers, the ratling guns and the rolling doomwheels — an arsenal ages ahead of anything the surface can field, and about half as dependable as it needs to be.
Power in Skryre is measured in warpstone and in the ingenuity to hoard it, and its engineers wage a constant covert war of sabotage, assassination, and stolen patents against one another. They sell their engines and their expertise to the warlord clans at ruinous prices, and they are careful never to explain quite how anything works. A Skryre device is a marvel and a menace in the same casing: it may shatter a regiment or the crew that fires it, and the engineer who built it will already be composing the excuse.

Kindred formations
Other Skaven formations
Clan EshinThe assassins and spies of Skavendom, who learned their arts in the shadow of the far east and now sell murder, sabotage, and secrets to every clan that can meet their price in warpstone.
Clan PestilensThe plague-priests of the Horned Rat, a fanatical brotherhood who worship pestilence as the holiest of sacraments and hurl their frothing Plague Monks into battle to share the gift of disease.
