The Lord of Blights is the keeper of Nurgle's most prized contagions, a grim quartermaster of disease who leads the Grandfather's Putrid Blightkings to war. Where a Blightking is joy made flesh, the Lord of Blights is its discipline: a taciturn giant in rusted plate who measures a battle by which rots he may collect from it and which he may bestow.
He carries a munificent bounty of eyeball-studded death-heads, each ripe with plague, and lobs them into the enemy ranks with an underarm cast, every burst spraying corruption across a dozen victims. At his side hangs a thrice-blessed heavy blade for the work of closer butchery. In battle he anchors the Blightkings, his presence steadying their advance and sharpening their rusted axes, and when the killing is done he stalks the corpse-fields gleaning fresh diseases from the fallen — souvenirs to be catalogued, cultivated, and gifted to the realms in campaigns yet to come.
