Skullreapers are warriors who have sworn the deepest of Khorne's oaths, each pledging a tally of worthy skulls sealed in his own blood. Their daemonbound blades murmur the count with every kill, and the murmuring drives them across the battlefield toward the strongest enemy present — champions, monsters, generals — for the skulls of weaklings count for nothing before the Skull Throne.
The oath cuts both ways. A Skullreaper who falters, who lets a worthy head escape or falls behind his sworn tally, begins to hear the blades whispering his own name instead. Khorne has one punishment for failure, and every Skullreaper carries it sheathed in his fists. So they fight the way drowning men swim: magnificently, and because stopping is death.
