Bloodletters

Bloodletters are not born; they are condensed. Each is a clot of pure rage given horned crimson form in the Blood God's domain, its hellblade less a forged thing than an edge that murder happens to have. They advance in eerily perfect ranks (Khorne is a god of war as well as fury, and his legions march before they slaughter), then break upon the foe in a frenzy of decapitating strokes.

To fight bloodletters is to duel anger itself, and anger cannot be killed. A hellblade through the heart merely banishes the daemon home to the Brass Citadel, where the rage that wore it pools and reforms. The realms' defenders can win the battle, the campaign, the age, but never the argument. As long as wrath exists anywhere, so do the bloodletters.
