The War Dog Huntsman is the pursuer of the Chaos Knight packs, a swift light war-engine bred, in body and in bound daemon-spirit, for the chase. Armed with a daemonic harpoon that spears fleeing vehicles and monsters and drags them within reach of its slavering reaper claws, the Huntsman exists to ensure that nothing escapes the pack once the hunt is begun. It ranges ahead and to the flanks, cutting off lines of retreat and running down the swift, the wounded and the broken with gleeful, predatory relish. The daemon shackled within its hull hungers above all for the terror of the fleeing, and its Infernal pilot shares that appetite, prolonging the chase for the sheer sport of it. In the lore of the traitor Households the Huntsman is the loosed hound, first to the enemy and last to leave a field, its claws forever wet with the blood of those who thought to flee.
