The War Dog Brigand is a light god-machine configured for ranged devastation, the fire-support cousin of the swifter Karnivore. Its principal weapon is the avenger chaincannon or the thundering c-beam cannon, either capable of stripping armour from enemy vehicles and cutting down infantry in droves. A havoc missile launcher and daemonic ordnance round out its arsenal, letting the Brigand threaten foes across the length of the battlefield.
Where the Karnivore hurls itself into the fray, the Brigand hangs back, laying down punishing fire to soften the enemy for the greater god-machines. Its pilots are patient killers, content to let their guns do the work rather than seek the glory of the charge. Dread Households field the Brigand in numbers, using packs of them to anchor a firebase or to escort a Questoris Knight into battle. Cheap to raise and simple to maintain by the standards of the Fallen Nobility, the Brigand is a workhorse of ruin, unglamorous but relentlessly, mechanically lethal.
