The Knight Abominant is a god-machine wholly given over to the warp, an Infernal war-suit whose corruption has bloomed into monstrous power. Its hull is malformed and swollen, its weapons fused with daemonic essence, and above its carapace crackles the Volkite Combustor, a weapon of the Dark Mechanicum that reduces flesh and armour alike to greasy ash. Where it treads, reality itself seems to sicken.
At the heart of every Abominant burns a daemon of terrible potency, and the pilot who shares the Throne must be a sorcerer or a madman to endure the union. The two are bound together in torment and rapture, engine and entity, and the Knight that results is more than the sum of its damnation. Abominants often lead the Infernal households into battle, their presence swelling the corruption of every war-suit around them. To face one is to face a fragment of the warp made manifest, a howling monument to what a noble god-machine becomes when it is given wholly to the Dark Gods.
