The Knight Styrix is the sinister counterpart to the Magaera, a Questoris Mechanicum war-engine configured not to endure but to annihilate. In place of the Magaera's shielded resilience the Styrix trades for raw, flesh-scouring firepower, its volkite chieorovile boiling victims to ash and its graviton pulsar crushing armour and bone beneath impossible weight. The hekaton siege claw at its side mounts a rad cleanser, drowning survivors in invisible, withering death. Turned to Chaos, these already-forbidden machines become vessels of pure malignancy, their heretek masters delighting in the slow, agonising extinction the Styrix visits upon all it hunts. It stalks the battlefield as an executioner, singling out elite formations and enemy characters and reducing them to smears of corrupted matter. To the Dark Mechanicum the Knight Styrix is a masterwork of cruelty, a relic of lost science repurposed as an instrument of damnation, loosed only where the enemy must not merely be beaten, but erased.
