Kariya Thorn

Kariya Thorn is a Princeps of Legio Metalica, mistress of the Reaver Titan Mortis Dictum, and among the most implacable commanders the Iron Skulls have ever produced. She earned the name the Iron Widow in the aftermath of a siege that claimed her entire maniple save her own god-engine, from which she walked out alone and unbroken, her Titan draped in the ruin of her enemies. Where grief would have shattered a lesser soul, it forged Thorn into something harder still.

True to the character of Metalica, Thorn wages war with cold, industrial patience. She does not seek glory or the swift kill but the certain annihilation of the foe, advancing behind walls of void shields and returning every blow tenfold. Her discipline is absolute, and the Moderati who serve beneath her learn to match her tireless resolve or transfer to another engine.

The machine-spirit of Mortis Dictum is old and vengeful, and Thorn governs it with an iron will that has never once faltered. She has marched the Iron Skulls through some of the grimmest wars of the age, grinding traitor and xenos alike to slag beneath her god-engine's tread. To the Legio she is a paragon of Metalican duty; to her enemies, she is simply the end.
