The Warhound Titan is the smallest and swiftest of the god-engines, a Scout-class Titan built for speed and aggression. Where its greater kin advance with ponderous inevitability, the Warhound lopes across the battlefield on digitigrade legs, ranging ahead of the battle-line to hunt. It hunts in pairs, and a Warhound pack is a terror to enemy armour and infantry alike.
Armed with a fearsome array of weapons, the vulcan mega-bolter, the plasma blastgun, the inferno gun and the turbo-laser destructor, the Warhound can be configured to shred infantry, gut tanks, or duel enemy war-engines. Its relative speed lets it outmanoeuvre heavier foes, striking at vulnerable flanks and rear armour before slipping away. Though it lacks the raw might and heavy void shielding of a Battle Titan, the Warhound more than compensates with pace and cunning, and its Princeps are often bold, impetuous souls who relish the thrill of the hunt. In the maniples of the Legios, the Warhound is the swift blade that clears the way for the god-engines that follow.
