Gors

The braying heart of every warherd — horned warriors of muscle and spite who fight in howling masses beneath crude totems.

The gor is the beastman as the Old World knows and fears it: a horned head on a man-broad frame, a beast's strength harnessed to a raider's low cunning. Gors fight in seething mobs with hatchets, cleavers, and scavenged shields, and what they lack in drill they repay in fury — a gor charge does not break against a shieldwall so much as chew through it. Status in the herd is written in horn and scar, and every gor knows exactly which of its kin it may bully and which it must obey.

What makes gors dangerous is not their savagery but their patience. They will shadow a woodcutter's camp for days, learn the watch rotations of a palisade, and wait for the night the sentries drink. They were born knowing that the fields of men were forest once; burning the farmhouse back to ash is not conquest to a gor, but restoration.
