The Ghorgon is one of the most terrible things the brayherds field, a colossal relative of the minotaur grown vast and hideous beyond all reason and given over entirely to hunger. Where a minotaur is a monster, a Ghorgon is a calamity: a mountain of corded muscle crowned with a gaping, over-large maw and armed with great scything blades of bone grown from its own forearms. It exists to feed, and it feeds constantly, snatching up warriors in mid-battle and cramming them whole into its jaws, killing and eating in the same motion so that the two acts become one continuous horror. It is barely aware of the battle around it and cares nothing for the herd's purposes; the beastmen simply drive it toward the densest press of the enemy and let its appetite do the rest. Arrows and blades vanish into its bulk without slowing it. Only overwhelming force, or the beast's own eventual glut, ever stops a Ghorgon once it begins to eat.
