A Waywatcher spends long years learning the secret paths of the wood, becoming so attuned to the forest that they can vanish amid dappled shadow and birdsong. From concealment they loose arrows with uncanny precision, felling the mightiest foes with shots to the eye or throat. Those who trespass upon the borders of Athel Loren rarely see the archers who slay them.
Solitary and watchful, Waywatchers often operate alone or in small bands, ranging far ahead of the Wood Elf host. They are the first line of defence against the enemies of the forest, silent killers who ensure that few threats ever reach the heart of the elven realm.
