The Black Orcs are the largest, strongest, and most disciplined of all greenskins, a warrior caste that towers over their lesser kin among the Orc and Goblin tribes. Clad in heavy iron armour and armed with cruel blades and axes, they are natural leaders whose sheer menace keeps even the most quarrelsome mobs in line.
According to greenskin lore, the Black Orcs were bred long ago in the far east by the Chaos Dwarfs to serve as slave-soldiers, only to rise up in bloody rebellion and scatter across the world. This origin left them harder and more single-minded than other orcs, less given to the squabbling and infighting that plagues their race, and forever contemptuous of weakness.
In battle, Black Orcs form the iron core of a Waaagh!, wading into the thickest fighting with methodical brutality. They carry a bewildering array of weapons and expect nothing less than total war, driving lesser greenskins onward through fear as much as example.
