The Ogroid Myrmidon is a monster bred for war, a towering bull-headed brute of the ogroid kind that has bound itself to the service of the Dark Gods. Standing head and shoulders above a mortal warrior, all corded muscle and sweeping horns, it is nonetheless no mere beast: the Myrmidon is a disciplined and cunning fighter, a duellist that hungers for worthy foes.
In battle it seeks out the strongest enemies it can find, for there is little glory in slaughtering the weak. Wielding a great chainaxe and spear, or a pair of wicked blades, it fights with a speed and grace that belies its bulk, goring with its horns and battering foes aside before finishing them with precise, brutal strokes. The mere presence of an Ogroid Myrmidon steadies the mortal warriors around it, its ferocity an example they strain to match. Proud, martial, and contemptuous of cowardice, it treats every battle as a proving-ground, and measures its own worth by the strength of the champions it lays low.
