Ograx the Great is proof that even the most exalted brotherhood in all the hordes of Chaos cannot bar its doors to sufficient strength. An ogroid theridon of immense size and greater ambition, Ograx clawed and gored his way up through the warbands of the Everchosen until even the Varanguard — Archaon's peerless knights, the Thrice-Blessed — could not deny him a place among their number.
He rides to war as a champion of that dread brotherhood, a mountain of muscle and daemon-forged armour who fights with a ferocity no mortal knight can match. Where the Varanguard are a lance aimed at the heart of the enemy, Ograx is its brutal point, smashing through shield-walls and champions alike with sweeping blows that pulp armour and bone together. His horns alone have ended the boldest of foes.
For all his savagery, Ograx did not earn his place by strength of arm alone. He is shrewd, disciplined, and utterly devoted to the Everchosen's cause, having recognised in Archaon a master worth following to the ending of the world. Among the Varanguard he is both weapon and symbol — living proof that on the Path to Glory, greatness is seized by those mighty enough to take it, whatever shape they wear.
