The Isharann Tidecaster is the sorceress of the deep enclaves, the priest-caste adept who calls forth the ethersea itself, the spectral ocean that rolls across any battlefield the Idoneth choose to fight upon. By her will the phantom tide rises and falls, and with it the fury of the whole deepkin host, for the aelves fight in rhythms tied to the surging and ebbing of the ghostly waters she conjures.
A Tidecaster can becalm the enemy as though they struggled through deep water, slowing their advance to a crawl, or raise crushing swells of spirit-ocean to break their formations apart. Among the Idoneth Deepkin she is both weather-witch and battle-priest, shaping the very medium of the fight to her people's advantage. There is something dreamlike and terrible in her presence, for around a Tidecaster the air grows thick and cold and the light bends as though seen from beneath the waves. The enemies of the deepkin often find themselves drowning on dry land, dragged down by an ocean that is not there, while the aelves move through it as freely as fish through the sea they have brought with them.
