The Order Grand Alliance is the broad banner uniting the peoples who seek to rebuild, defend, and civilise the Mortal Realms in the wake of the Age of Chaos. It is the alliance most associated with Sigmar's cause, though it is far from a single unified nation, gathering instead a fractious multitude of peoples bound by a shared desire for stability and law.
Under its banner march Sigmar's Stormcast Eternals and the mortal populations of the free cities, alongside the enlightened aelves of Hysh, the sky-duardin of the Kharadron sky-ports, the ember-forged Fyreslayer lodges, the tree-spirits of the sylvaneth, and the cold-blooded seraphon who fight to restore a lost cosmic plan. Their goals rarely align perfectly, and old grudges, rival ambitions, and clashing philosophies keep the alliance in a state of perpetual tension.
What holds Order together is not love but necessity. Against the corruption of Chaos, the hunger of Death, and the fury of Destruction, its members recognise that only cooperation offers any hope of survival. When their armies do fight as one, they represent civilisation's best chance of reclaiming the realms; when they fall to squabbling, as they often do, they hand their enemies the openings that ambition and mistrust always provide. Order is thus both the great hope of the age and its most frustrating contradiction.
