The Flamescar Plateau is a sprawling highland region of the Great Parch in Aqshy, a windswept expanse of scrub, ash-plains and smouldering ridgelines where fire ever lingers beneath the soil. It was here, amid the ruins and free settlements, that many of the earliest battles to reclaim the Mortal Realms were fought as Sigmar's Tempest broke over the land.
The plateau is dotted with the remnants of Age of Myth civilisation and the strongholds of hardy frontier folk, who eke out survival among roaming warbands and predatory beasts. Its most storied site is the Brimstone Peninsula, where the first Stormcast Eternals struck like lightning against the hordes of the Blood God.
The Flamescar Plateau endures as a symbol of both loss and reclamation, a frontier where the Cities of Sigmar push ever outward against the darkness that still haunts Aqshy.
