Teclis is the god of light, magic, and wisdom, the most gifted mage ever to draw breath and, by his own reckoning, the cleverest being in all creation. Slender and cerebral, he wields sorcery of such subtlety that lesser powers cannot even perceive the workings of his spells until they have already unmade them.
With his twin Tyrion and the shadow-gods Malerion and Morathi, Teclis laboured through the Age of Myth to recover the aelven souls devoured by the Dark Prince in a world long dead. From those reclaimed spirits he sought to fashion a new and perfect people, though his early creations proved flawed, unbalanced by too much or too little of the aetheric light. Only through hard lesson did he shape the Lumineth Realm-lords, an aloof and disciplined civilisation dwelling in Hysh, the Realm of Light.
Teclis walks among his creations more as a distant, exacting tutor than a worshipped lord, forever refining their mastery of magic and the higher disciplines of the mind. His pride is boundless and not always warranted, for his schemes have birthed disasters as often as wonders.
Yet when the realms stand imperilled, few allies are worth more than the Mage-God of Hysh. Bound to the cause of Order and the Pantheon of Sigmar, Teclis brings a scalpel where others bring a hammer, unpicking the works of Chaos thread by patient thread. Wisdom, he insists, is the deadliest weapon of all.
