Alarielle the Everqueen is the goddess of life, radiant mistress of growth and renewal, and mother to all the tree-spirits of the wilds. Where she treads, forests bloom and barren soil quickens; where she weeps, healing waters flow. Yet hers is no gentle divinity, for life at bay becomes life enraged.
In the Age of Myth she reigned over Ghyran, the Realm of Life, and raised the Jade Kingdoms in wild splendour, birthing the Sylvaneth as her children and guardians. Then came the Age of Chaos and with it Nurgle, the Plague God, who prized her realm above all others and drowned its glades in rot and pestilence. War after war ground her forces down until, on the very brink of ruin, the Everqueen shed her ancient form and fled into a single soulpod seed rather than perish utterly.
From that seed she was reborn — no longer only the serene maiden of the old world but a wrathful warrior-queen, harder and fiercer, who rides to battle upon a great beast with spear and spell. The reborn goddess turned the tide, leading her wargroves to burn back the plague-orchards glade by bitter glade.
Alarielle wars still against the creeping decay, allied to Sigmar's cause yet answering to no one but the green. She embodies a defiant truth of the Mortal Realms: that life, like the weed through stone, is impossible to wholly kill.
