The Legion Predator was the dependable armoured fist of the Sons of Horus, a battle tank they wielded with the same aggressive confidence that marked every facet of their war. Where some Legions held their Predators back as cautious fire-support, the XVI drove them forward in concert with their assault, using autocannon and sponson lascannon to smash a path through enemy armour and pin infantry in place for the killing charge that followed. The Sons of Horus prized adaptability as highly as ferocity, and their crews switched between anti-tank and anti-infantry loadouts with a veteran's instinct for what a battle demanded. In the Warmaster's method of war there was no place for hesitation, and the Predator embodied that creed: pressing always forward, trading fire without flinching, and grinding down whatever the spearhead's first charge did not shatter outright. It was unglamorous, relentless, and brutally effective, exactly as its masters intended.
