The Legion Sicaran Battle Tank was a weapon after the Sons of Horus' own heart: swift, aggressive, and built to lead from the front rather than lurk in a gun-line. As the favoured Legion of the Warmaster, the XVI enjoyed a share of the Sicaran's rare production that few rivals could match, and they used it to spearhead their signature armoured thrusts, racing ahead of the main assault to shatter enemy tanks before they could form a firing line. Its twin accelerator autocannon spat hyper-velocity shells that gutted vehicle flanks, and its advanced cogitators let it maintain a punishing rate of fire even at full speed. The Sons of Horus prized nothing so much as momentum, the relentless forward pressure that broke an enemy's will before it broke his line, and the Sicaran was momentum given form. Where Horus' warriors drove the tip of the spear deepest, the accelerator cannon's roar announced that the killing blow was already falling.
