Where lesser Terminators serve as a battering ram, the Paladins fight with a lethal poise unmistakably of the Ninth, wielding paired power blades and glaives with a duellist's precision even beneath the crushing weight of their armour. They form the anvil against which Sanguinius breaks his enemies, teleporting into the heart of a foe's strength to hold a position no ordinary squad could keep. Yet their sealed helms hide a particular danger, for the Red Thirst burns hottest in those who kill at arm's length for hours without pause, and a Paladin who succumbs mid-battle becomes a horror even his brothers must fear.
