Armed with specialised bolt rounds and guided by intelligence gathered by operatives who had walked among the enemy for months, Seekers did not simply kill officers at random; they killed the one man whose absence would collapse a supply chain, void a stratagem, or turn a rival's allies against him. The Alpha Legion treated warfare as a puzzle to be dismantled piece by piece, and the Seekers were the fingers that plucked away its keystones. Where the Raven Guard's marksmen hunted warlords in open decapitation, the XX preferred subtler cuts, a quartermaster here, a codebearer there, each death seemingly minor until the whole edifice of an enemy's plan came silently apart. By the time the foe realised he was being unmade from within, the Seekers had already chosen their next mark.
