The Mournfang Cavalry ride the great predators of the Mountains of Mourn — hulking, sabre-fanged beasts as broad as they are vicious, that dwell in the deepest caves and feed on anything foolish enough to share them. To break and ride a mournfang is a mark of high status among ogres, and only Tyrants and their chosen sit astride these monsters.
The result is a hammer-blow few armies can withstand. Mournfang and rider together weigh as much as a warband, and when they charge the ground itself seems to buckle beneath them. The beast tears with fang and claw while the ogre lays about with club and cleaver, and the two kill with a shared, gleeful hunger that leaves shield-walls scattered like kindling. Slow to muster and near impossible to stop once moving, Mournfang Cavalry are the ogre answer to knights and monsters alike — a charge that hits like a rockslide and eats whatever it knocks down.
