Bloodletters are the mainstay of Khorne's daemon legions, the disciplined footsoldiers of the Blood God's endless war. Tall and cruel, with the horned heads of hunting beasts and skin the colour of clotted blood, they advance in grim, silent ranks that break into a full-throated roar only as they close for the kill. Each wields a hellblade, a wicked sword forged from the same daemonic stuff as its bearer, whose edge shears through armour and flesh with contemptuous ease and whose merest cut can prove mortal.
Unlike the frenzied mortal berserkers who worship their god, Bloodletters kill with a terrible order and purpose, wheeling and charging in murderous formation at the will of their heralds. They feel no fear and know no mercy, existing only to spill blood in Khorne's name and claim skulls for his throne. A regiment of Bloodletters striking home is one of the most lethal sights on any battlefield of the Old World — a wall of black iron and red flesh that kills, and kills, and does not stop.
