Beaten together from looted iron, sharpened scrap, and the great curved tusks of slaughtered beasts, this crude cleaver is the favoured weapon of the Ironjawz and Bonesplitterz who rampage across the Mortal Realms in the name of the twin-headed god Gorkamorka.
To an orruk, a choppa is more than a blade; it is an extension of the greenskin's boundless appetite for a good fight. The bigger and heavier the choppa, the more the orruk respects it, and the mightiest brutes wield choppas so massive that a lesser creature could not so much as lift them. In the grip of a rampaging Megaboss, such a weapon shears through armour, shield, and monster alike, sending broken bodies tumbling with every gleeful swing.
The strangest power of the Gorktusk Choppa is not in the iron but in the orruks themselves. The more furiously the greenskins fight, the stronger and faster their blows become, as the raw energy of the Waaagh! surges through the mob. A choppa that merely dents armour in the opening moments of a battle can, by its bloody climax, cave in the skull of a giant. For the orruks, there is no finer feeling in all the realms than a good choppa buried in a worthy foe.
