Orruk Warclans · Formation

Bonesplitterz

Feral hunters daubed in bone and war-paint who chase the mightiest beasts of the realms to claim the power of their spirits. Armoured in faith rather than iron, they trust the Waaagh! to protect the truly devoted — and charge accordingly.

The Bonesplitterz are the oldest and most feral strain of orruk, worshippers of Gorkamorka in his rawest, reddest aspect. They wear no iron and raise no walls; their creed holds that the great beasts of the Mortal Realms are shards of their god's own spirit, and that an orruk who hunts and devours enough of them draws that divinity into himself.

So they daub their green skin in bone and warpaint until they are more talisman than warrior, and hurl themselves at monsters any sane creature would flee. Their wurrgog and maniak prophets teach that iron is for orruks who doubt: a true Bonesplitter needs no armour, for the Waaagh! itself sheathes the devoted and turns aside blades that logic says should gut him.

When it does not, the survivors reason that the fallen were insufficiently convinced, and charge all the harder. A Bonesplitterz Waaagh! moves like a hunting pack the size of an army, chasing rumours of godbeasts across half a realm and leaving gnawed skeletons the height of towers in its wake. To the settled peoples they are a plague of laughing savages; to themselves, the truest orruks left alive.
