The stonehorn is one of the great primal beasts of the realms, a horned mountain of muscle built around a skeleton of living rock. It does not charge so much as fall forward endlessly, and very little in the Mortal Realms survives standing where it lands. Its Beastclaw crew goad it on with harpoon launchers and chaintraps, but nobody who has watched a stonehorn work believes the ogors are truly in command — they are passengers on a natural disaster with opinions.
Killing a stonehorn is a task entire armies fail at. Blades turn on its stone bones, cannonballs lodge in its hide like gravel in old leather, and wounds that would end any lesser monster serve mainly to inform it of your location. The Beastclaw Raiders revere the beasts accordingly: a Frostlord will mourn a fallen stonehorn far longer than a fallen ogor, on the reasonable grounds that ogors are easier to replace.
