The Stonehorn is a colossal, mountain-dwelling beast native to the frozen peaks of the Mortal Realms, and one of the most fearsome monsters ridden to war by the ogor-mawtribes. Its body is armoured in living rock and its bones are as hard as granite, making it almost impervious to harm as it crashes through enemy formations like an avalanche given flesh.
Stonehorns are so tough that ogors believe them to be all but immortal, their ancient hides bearing the scars of countless ages. When a Stonehorn charges, it lowers its massive horned head and ploughs through anything in its path, shattering shield walls and crushing warriors beneath feet the size of boulders. The beast feels little pain, and even grievous wounds barely slow its relentless advance.
The Beastclaw Raiders of the Mawtribes revere these creatures, and an ogor who tames a Stonehorn earns great renown. Mounted atop such a monster, a Frostlord or Huskard becomes a living siege engine, leading the endless migration of the Everwinter across the realms. To face a Stonehorn on the battlefield is to face the fury of the mountains themselves.
