Neferata

Neferata was a queen before she was a vampire, and she has never stopped being either. Eldest and subtlest of the Soulblight aristocracy, she rules the hidden city of Nulahmia in Shyish as the Mortarch of Blood: Nagash's mistress of spies and, by her own private accounting, the true author of half the realms' history. Her weapon of choice is the court itself: a glance placed like a blade, a rumor fed for a decade, a kingdom persuaded to cut its own throat and curtsey afterward.

When war cannot be avoided, or has simply become the tidier option, she takes to the sky on the dread abyssal Nagadron, and enemies who spent years fencing with her shadows discover that the shadows were the merciful part. Yet her longest game is the one she plays with her master. Nagash demands obedience and Neferata gives it, flawlessly and publicly, while weaving schemes so patient that even the Great Necromancer may not outlast their ends. She has already survived the death of one world. She intends to outlive this one, and everyone in it.
