Beastlord Rhakarr, called the Gore-Crowned, is a warlord of the braytribes who rules the only way a beastlord can: by being the strongest, cruellest, and most cunning brute in the warherd, and killing anything that suggests otherwise. His broad horns are hung with the skulls of challengers and champions alike, a grisly crown that announces his supremacy long before he speaks.
Unlike the shamans who commune with distant gods, Rhakarr's authority is brutally direct. He leads every charge from the front, wading into the thickest fighting with a pair of notched, blood-caked blades, and his warriors follow because they have seen what happens to those who do not. A single bellow from the Gore-Crowned can spur an entire warherd into a frenzy, and his low cunning — ambushes sprung from the treeline, feigned routs that draw the enemy onto the horns — has undone many a better-armed foe.
For all his savagery, Rhakarr is no mere animal. He nurses a patient, seething hatred for the civilised peoples who drove the beastmen into the wilds, and he wages his wars with the grim purpose of a creature that means to see every wall in the realms pulled down and every road swallowed by the wood.
