Dal'yth

Dal'yth is the most cosmopolitan of the T'au sept worlds, a bustling crossroads where dozens of alien species live, trade, and labour side by side beneath the banner of unity. Its great cities are thronged with Kroot, Nicassar, Vespid, and a hundred lesser client races, drawn into the fold of the T'au Empire by the promise of prosperity and belonging. More than anywhere else, Dal'yth embodies the Empire's dream of a galaxy woven together by mutual benefit.

The sept's Water caste diplomats are its true champions, master negotiators whose honeyed words have folded whole worlds into the Empire without a shot fired. Yet Dal'yth is no stranger to war, for its wealth and openness make it a coveted prize. During the Damocles Gulf Crusade, the sept endured the full fury of an Imperial assault, its cities scarred by orbital fire before an uneasy peace was brokered, and the memory of that reckoning hardened its resolve.

Dal'yth's Fire Warrior cadres reflect the sept's diverse character, fighting alongside a rich array of auxiliary contingents drawn from its many client species. Its markets never sleep, its ports receive vessels from across the Empire's expanse, and its culture blends a thousand traditions into something wholly new.
