The Terminus Est is a warship long since surrendered to decay, its once-proud hull swollen with corruption and crawling with the buzzing swarms of the Destroyer Hive. It is the flagship of Typhus the Traveller, Herald of Nurgle and lord of the Death Guard, and it carries his contagions to every corner of the galaxy it can reach. Where its shadow falls, sickness follows.
Once a battleship of the loyal Legion in the days of the Great Crusade, the vessel fell with Mortarion's sons into the embrace of the Plague God during the horror of the Warmaster's rebellion. Now its interior is a fetid cathedral of rot, its corridors slick with filth, its chapels rededicated to the Grandfather of Plagues. The daemon-flies that boil from its innards can strip a hab-block of life in hours.
The Terminus Est does not merely destroy; it infects. Typhus deploys it to spread the Destroyer Plague, that terrible pestilence which slays the living and raises them anew as shambling zombie-hosts to serve their new master. Entire population-worlds have been claimed in this fashion, dying and marching in a single grim procession.
Across ten thousand years the plague-ship has sailed, an emissary of entropy and slow death. To sight it upon the void-augurs is to know that a world is already lost, and that only the mercy of exterminatus remains.
