The Lords Kakophonist are the master conductors of the Emperor's Children, commanders who have refined the weaponised sound of the Kakophoni into a dark and terrible art. Where a lesser warrior sees a battle line, the Lord Kakophonist hears an orchestra waiting to be conducted, and he directs the discordant fury of his warriors' sonic weapons with the precision of a maestro, building his cacophony toward a crescendo of annihilation.
So overwhelming is the tirade of sound such a lord can summon that it tears at the very fabric of reality, manifesting strange eldritch phenomena and quaking the souls of all who hear it. Foes are left reeling and soul-sick, their courage shattered and their minds unmoored, even as the physical force of the noise pulps flesh and shatters armour. The Lord Kakophonist bears a doom siren as both instrument and weapon, and takes his place at the head of the Legion's Noise Marines and Kakophoni, or amid a phalanx of Chaos Terminators, magnifying their devastation with his art. In him the ancient obsessions of the Third Legion find their fullest expression, for he is at once a peerless artist and a bringer of absolute ruin, and to the Emperor's Children there has never been any distinction between the two.
